The LRXPlus universal testing system is ideal for materials testing applications up to 5 kN (1124 lbf). Suitable for both routine and complex test applications, the standard LRXPlus features a single column design with a crosshead travel range of 735 mm (28.9 in). Extended machine column options (LRXPlus-E models) for testing high elongation materials are also available.

This bench mounted machine is microprocessor controlled and incorporates world proven 32 bit technology for highly accurate load measurement and rapid data acquisition. The LRXPlus features an integral control console with large, positive action membrane keys, allowing complex tests to be performed at the touch of a button. A back lit 4 line LCD display shows the test and set up information in a wide choice of user selectable languages and units.

The stand alone system is capable of storing up to 600 test results from a choice of ten programmable test set ups. Test parameters are entered using the keypad in a sequential menu driven format.

For additional flexibility, the LRXPlus can also be connected to a personal computer with optional Lloyd Instruments NEXYGEN™ MT material test and control software. NEXYGEN software provides almost unlimited testing and results processing capability in a familiar Windows environment.

A series of highly accurate, interchangeable loadcells is available for tension, compression and cycling through zero force measurements. The LFPlus universal testing machine is an easy to use solution for force measurement and material testing applications up to 1 kN (225 lbf). The machine uses interchangeable XLC Series loadcells. Tension and compression testing with cycling to load and extension limits are standard features. The machine can be equipped with a variety of accessories including: grips, fixtures, compression frames, thermal cabinets and extensometers.

The LFPlus features an innovative design that maximises working space and simplifies operation and maintenance. The large work area and deep 175 mm (6.89 in) throat accommodates large specimens and is supplied with a standard universal eye end or optional expanded work table, T-slot table or drip tray. An impressive 0.05-1270 mm/min (0.002-50 in/min) crosshead speed makes it ideal for advanced applications such as creep tests and constant load holding tests. he LFPlus machine displays load and extension information on a high visibility LCD console with integral membrane keypad. Easy Operation
All you have to do is push the START button; the EZ Test will show the maximum load, breakdown displacement, etc. on digital LED displays. You do not have to make troublesome settings of testing parameters. The LED displays present either the actual loads or the stress values and either the elongations or the strain values, the selection being made by simple key operation.

High precision and high reliability
Loads are measured with a precision less than ± 1% of the indicated value, within the range from 1/1 to 1/50 of the rated load.

Load-displacement curves on the optimum scale
Load-displacement curves are recorded on any user-selectable scale, within the range from 1/1 to 1/10 of the rated load. Also, the displacements (crosshead movements) are recorded on an arbitrary full scale on the recorder.
