CP Series

The Sartorius CP Series is the widest array of basic balances for professional lab use in the world.

Twenty-five models - from 0.001mg to 34kg - offer high value for a variety of laboratory weighing applications. They provide an excellent return on your investment all down the line.

Dual-range Semi-micro Balances

AUW-D dual-range semi-micro balances are the world first five-decimal balances with the advantages of UniBloc one-piece force cell technology.

Choice of fully-automatic calibrations: PSC and Clock -CAL
Operator can choose from two types of fully-automatic span calibration methods. "PSC" is initiated based on temperature change detection, and "Clock-CAL" operates at user pre-set times (up to three times a day).

WindowsDirect function
The balance communicates directly to a PC with Windows® applications. No additional software is needed to interface with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and laboratory software. WindowsDirect works with Windows® 95, 98, 2000, NT4.0, ME and XP. PC must be IBM PC/AT compatible.

Interval timer
Weighed data can be output to external devices at user pre-set intervals.

The new line of Shimadzu top-loading balances are engineered with the innovative UniBloc mechanism which brings unrivaled quick response, excellent stability and durability at the same time. Powerful features support any imaginable weighing application. UX Series comes with motor-diven built-in calibration weight and fully-automatic calibration functions.

UniBloc technology and benefits

The traditional core assembly of the electro-magnetic balance is replaced by a single part, the aluminum Shimadzu UniBloc. Digitally controlled wire-cut electric discharge processing makes it possible. This technology, which Shimadzu introduced in our EB-K precision platform balances as early as 1989, brings excellent benefits to the operator. Quick response, stability against temperature change, and outstanding durability.
